Hello Sydney! My name is Wing Chuan Chan (Jimmy).
I am an Australian trained Endodontist (Professional Tooth Plumber, Endobug Hitman, and Tooth Comedian).
The crunch of a potato chip, the softness of mozzarella cheese or a simple act of biting an apple. The great news is that everybody can enjoy these sensations, unfortunately not without natural teeth. Such simple pleasures are not possible to regain with non-natural teeth. That’s where I come in.
I can remove the microbes/damaged nerves inside teeth via root canal treatment.
My journey began in 2008 as a dental student at the International Medical University (IMU), Malaysia. I then began my clinical training at the University of Adelaide and graduated there in 2013. Upon graduation, I spent 3 years in Singapore practising as a general dentist. During my time there, I discovered my passion for root canal treatments. I then embark on a life changing journey to specialise in this field. Along the way, I travelled to prestigious Universities like University of Pennsylvania, to learn more about Endodontics before settling at the University of Adelaide to complete my specialist training under the tutelage of Professor Giampiero Rossi-Fedele.
Upon completion of my specialist training in 2020, I moved to Sydney and was fortunate enough to work in Gentle Endodontics, which is one of the busiest endodontic practices in Sydney. After 3 years there, I decided to set on for new adventures on my own, to see what the future holds filled with excitement and optimism.
In my free time, I lecture locally and internationally about root canal treatments, take professional exams, and try to be a pokemon master. Other than English, I also speak Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay.
